How long does data recovery take?
Every data recovery scenario is different. In the vast majority of cases, once we receive your hard drive, we aim to have your data recovery operation completed in 2 to 5 business days. We realize how important your data is to you and make every effort to get you up and running again as soon as possible.
What caused my data loss?
Data loss can occur for a variety of reasons. Sometimes your hard drive will crash and become defective. Every mechanical component to your computer has a life cycle, in which at some point it will stop functioning. Other causes could be a virus on your computer deleting and moving files around or a computer user accidently or purposely deleting a file. Physical damage resulting from drops, rough handling, or power surges can also be another reason your hard drive or storage device may no longer be working.
How can I prevent data loss?
First and foremost it is very important to always have a backup of any data important to you. Accessing your important lost data is easy if you have extra copies. External hard drives, USB drives, DVD’s, and cloud storage are all options for data backup.
Additionally, it is very important to be careful where you visit on the internet and what files are downloaded. Always keep your antivirus and other computer software up to date to help avoid vulnerabilities in your software.
How does your company handle confidentiality?
We realize that when accessing your hard drive we may come across sensitive information. Our employees will not make copies of anything they find nor disclose any information they come across. This is a situation we take very seriously due to the legal and moral obligations we have to our customers. Your hard drive will be in a monitored environment the entire time it is in our possession. This ensures that no outside party can access your data.
Can you explain how your company operates?
We are a nationally operating data recovery company. All hard drives are mailed to our headquarters in Dallas, Texas so that we can ensure professional, licensed individuals work on them in class 100 clean rooms.
What are class 100 clean rooms?
